Mark Taylor received a B.A. in Psychology from Pitzer College and has a both a post-baccalaureate and an MBA from Arizona State University. As he progressed through his post-baccalaureate degree, he realized that he really liked the “nuts and bolts” of accounting. While in the accounting profession he was exposed to a variety of sectors holding positions in public, corporate, and governmental accounting. The majority of his experience has been in tax positions. Mark has experience with budgeting, auditing, tax preparation, and tax projections.

Mark has worked for small to midsized CPA firms. As a result, he was able to gain experience in both tax and auditing. He has worked several years as a Senior Accountant, a director of tax & financial planning, and a tax compliance expert. As a CPA, Mark has had the opportunity to interface with a wide variety of people and industries on a daily basis.

Mark’s favorite part is making a difference in a client’s business.
“I get great personal satisfaction when I am able to make a recommendation that saves a client money.”

Mark also spent six years as a Revenue Agent for the Internal Revenue Service. He was responsible for coordinating examination of large and medium sized corporations with assets of greater than $10 million.

Mark has 20+ years in the tax business and is also nearing the completion of a doctoral program in Business Administration.
